This is a mod for Baldurs Gate 3. Weapon actions can be used once per turn, instead of once per short rest. Giving martials some much needed power, utility and variety. There is also an optional file for once per combat. Get the mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/12641
NPCs will also benefit from this. But in some cases they have special NPC versions of the action that wern’t changed. I could edit those as well, but it would likely cause issues with AI in some cirumstances. As they likely use the cooldown as a trigger. For example a goblin might be told to switch to a ranged weapon when gaping wounds is on cooldown. With my change they would never switch to a bow, as they could use the gaping wounds action everyturn. Leave a comment if you would want a version that edits these as well.

Installation
Any install method will work (except probably vortex). But i reccomend Laughing Leaders fantastic Baldurs Gate 3 Mod Manager https://github.com/LaughingLeader/BG3ModManager.
Compatibility
This edits various spell entries (not actual spells, the engine just treats most abilities the same as spells). It will be compatible fully with anything that doesn’t directly edit weapon abilities themselves.
Anything that changes which abilities weapons have or adds new ones, will be fully compatible.
Existing Saves
It’s possible install or uninstalling while one of the altered actions is on cooldown could cause odd behaviour. But i doubt it. If you want to be safe just install/uninstall after a rest when all relevant actions are off cooldown.
